حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، وَسَعْدٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: كَانَتْ فِي حِجْرِي جَارِيَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَزَوَّجْتُهَا قَالَتْ: فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عُرْسِهَا، فَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ لَعِبًا، فَقَالَ: " يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُحِبُّونَ كَذَا وَكَذَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that there was an Ansari girl under my care. I arranged her marriage. On the day of her wedding, the Prophet (ﷺ) came to me and did not hear any sounds of play or amusement. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Aisha! The Ansar tribe likes such and such thing."
