حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ الْقَلَائِدَ لِهَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ يَمْكُثُ. قَالَتْ: وَكَانَ يُهْدِي الْغَنَمَ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to twist the collars of the sacrificial animals, that is, goats, of the Prophet (ﷺ), and even after that, the Prophet (ﷺ) would not refrain from anything (from which those in the state of Ihram abstain).
