Musnad Ahmad Hadith 26154

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we set out with the Prophet (ﷺ), and our intention was only to perform Hajj. When the Prophet (ﷺ) reached Makkah Mukarramah, he performed Tawaf of the House of Allah but did not exit the state of Ihram because the Prophet (ﷺ) had a sacrificial animal with him. The pure wives and the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) also performed Tawaf and Sa’i, and all those who did not have a sacrificial animal with them exited the state of Ihram. I was menstruating. After we performed our Hajj rituals and reached the place of Hasbah to depart, I said, “O Messenger of Allah! Will your companions return with both Hajj and Umrah, and I will return with only Hajj?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When we reached Makkah Mukarramah, did you not perform Tawaf of both?” I said, “No.” The Prophet (ﷺ) sent my brother with me. Then I met the Prophet (ﷺ) at night while he was ascending the upper part of Makkah Mukarramah and I was descending.
