Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that there are some supplications which the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say frequently: "O Turner of the hearts! Make my heart steadfast upon Your religion." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Why do you often say these supplications?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The heart of a person is between two fingers of Allah the Almighty; if He wills, He turns it aside, and if He wills, He keeps it straight."
