حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُرْوَةُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَزَّازُ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، بَدَأَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ، وَغَسَلَ فَرْجَهُ، وَقَدَمَيْهِ، وَمَسَحَ يَدَهُ بِالْحَائِطِ، ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ، فَكَأَنِّي أَرَى أَثَرَ يَدِهِ فِي الْحَائِطِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
The details of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) bath are narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) as follows: The Prophet (peace be upon him) would first perform ablution as for prayer, then wash his private parts and feet, rub his hand on the wall and pour water over it, as if I can still see the mark of his hand on the wall.
