Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the wife of Rifa’ah Qurzhi came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ), I and Abu Bakr were also present there. She said, "Rifa’ah has given me an irrevocable divorce, after which Abdur Rahman bin Zubair married me." Then she held a corner of her sheet and said, "He only has a corner like this." At that time, Khalid bin Saeed bin Aas was present at the door of the house; he was not allowed to enter, so he said from outside, "Abu Bakr! Why do you not stop this woman from speaking in such an exaggerated manner before the Prophet (ﷺ)?" However, the Prophet (ﷺ) only smiled and then said, "Perhaps you wish to return to Rifa’ah? But this cannot happen until you taste his honey and he tastes your honey."
