Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُجْنِبُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ، حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ وَلَا يَمَسُّ مَاءً " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes ghusl (ritual bath) would become obligatory upon the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) would sleep without touching water.
