حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ قَالَ (١) : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ، (٢) قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، مَا سَمِعْتُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ أَبِي عَنْ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، وَطَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ أَيْلَةَ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: قَالَ أَصْحَابُ الْحَدِيثِ لَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْكُوفَةِ، إِنَّمَا هَذَا عَنْ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي الْعُمَرِيَّ فَقُلْتُ لَهُمْ امْضُوا إِلَى أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ فَإِنَّ سَمَاعَهُمْ بِالْكُوفَةِ وَاحِدٌ مِنْ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ فَذَهَبُوا فَأَصَابُوهُ، ،
Translation
English translation
Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, he said: I heard Ubaydullah ibn Umar, and Malik ibn Anas informed us, from Talhah ibn Abd al-Malik, from al-Qasim, from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similarly. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is a rare hadith from Yahya ibn Sa'id; I have not heard it except from my father, from Ibn Numayr and Talhah ibn Abd al-Malik, a man from the people of Aylah. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: The hadith scholars said: This is not in Kufa; rather, this is from Ibn Numayr, from Ubaydullah, meaning al-Umari. So I said to them: Go to Abu Khaythamah, for their hearing in Kufa is only from Ibn Numayr. So they went and found him.
