Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ بَرِيرَةَ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once some charity was given to Barirah, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is charity for her and a gift for us."
