Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، (٣) قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " مَا كُنْتُ أَقْضِي مَا يَبْقَى عَلَيَّ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ حَيَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلَّهَا إِلَّا فِي شَعْبَانَ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to make up my missed fasts of Ramadan only in the month of Sha'ban until the Prophet (ﷺ) passed away.
