Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ؟ فَقَالَتْ: " إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُجَنِّبُهُ (١) شَيْءٌ، قَدْ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، يَبْدَأُ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I and the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform ghusl of janabah from the same vessel of water, and the Prophet (ﷺ) used to wash his hands first.
