Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was ill at night, so while lying on the bed he kept turning sides again and again. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "If any one of us did this, you would be displeased with them." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Hardships continue to come upon righteous people, and whenever a Muslim is afflicted with a thorn or something even less than that, one of his sins is forgiven and his rank is elevated by one degree."
