حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَيُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " أَوَّلُ مَا بُدِئَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْوَحْيِ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّادِقَةُ، أَوْ قَالَ: الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ - شَكَّ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ - " قَالَتْ: " وَكَانَ لَا يَرَى رُؤْيَا إِلَّا جَاءَتْ مِثْلَ فَلَقِ الصُّبْحِ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the beginning of revelation to the Prophet (ﷺ) first occurred through true dreams, such that whatever dream the Prophet (ﷺ) saw, its interpretation would become manifest before him like the brightness of the morning.
