حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نِمْتُ، فَرَأَيْتُنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ قَارِئٍ يَقْرَأُ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا: هَذَا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ " فَقَالَ (١) رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كَذَاكَ الْبِرُّ، كَذَاكَ الْبِرُّ " وَكَانَ أَبَرَّ النَّاسِ بِأُمِّهِ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: I entered Paradise and there I heard the sound of the recitation of the Holy Qur'an. I asked, "Who is this?" I was told that this is Harithah bin Nu'man. Your righteous people are like this; righteous people are like this. In fact, he used to treat his mother very well.
