حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بِرْذَوْنٍ، وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ طَرَفُهَا بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " رَأَيْتِيهِ (١) ؟ ذَاكَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) riding a Turkish horse. He was wearing a turban, one end of which was between his two shoulders. Later, I said that I saw you talking to a man. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Did you see him?" That was Jibreel (peace be upon him).
