حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: وحَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُ بَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ، فَيَعْدِلُ. قَالَ عَفَّانُ: وَيَقُولُ: " هَذِهِ قِسْمَتِي " ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ هَذَا فِعْلِي فِيمَا أَمْلِكُ، فَلَا تَلُمْنِي (١) فِيمَا تَمْلِكُ وَلَا أَمْلِكُ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) had fixed turns for his noble wives and he would act justly among them and would say: O Allah! As much as I have control, I do this; now, regarding that which You have control over and I have no control, do not blame me.
