Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، (٣) قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ غُسْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ؟ فَقَالَتْ: " كَانَ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ، ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ، ، يَتَمَضْمَضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ، ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the bath of the Prophet (ﷺ), so she said that the Prophet (ﷺ) would first wash his both hands, then wash his private parts, then wash his hands again and rinse his mouth, put water in his nose and pour water over his head, then pour water over his entire body.
