حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: إِنَّمَا هِيَ سُهَيْلَةُ بِنْتُ سَهْلٍ، وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَهَا بِالْغُسْلِ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، فَلَمَّا شَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَجْمَعَ الظُّهْرَ (٢) وَالْعَصْرَ بِغُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَبَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِغُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَأَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ لِلصُّبْحِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Suhailah bint Suhail used to have continuous menstrual bleeding. She came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and inquired about this matter. The Prophet (ﷺ) instructed her to perform ghusl (ritual bath) at the time of every prayer. But when this became difficult for her, the Prophet (ﷺ) instructed her to combine Zuhr and Asr with one ghusl, and to combine Maghrib and Isha with one ghusl, and to perform Fajr with one ghusl.
