حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، حَكَتْ امْرَأَةً عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَتْ قِصَرَهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قَدْ اغْتَبْتِيهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ), I began to imitate a man or a woman and mentioned that person’s short stature. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You have backbitten him."
