Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَرْفَعُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكُرَاعَ، فَيَأْكُلُهُ بَعْدَ شَهْرٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we have seen the time when we used to preserve the legs of our sacrificial animal and eat them after a month.
