حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: {وَأَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ} [الشعراء: ٢١٤] قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " يَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ، يَا صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ مِنَ اللهِ شَيْئًا، سَلُونِي مِنْ مَالِي مَا شِئْتُمْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when this verse was revealed: "And warn your close relatives," the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and said, "O Fatimah bint Muhammad (peace be upon him), O Safiyyah bint Abdul Muttalib! And O Banu Abdul Muttalib, I have no authority to do anything for you before Allah. However, take from my wealth whatever you wish."
