حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْحَجَبِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا أَحَلَّ اسْمِي وَحَرَّمَ كُنْيَتِي؟ وَمَا حَرَّمَ كُنْيَتِي وَأَحَلَّ اسْمِي؟ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Who is it that has made my name permissible and my kunyah forbidden, or who is it that has made my kunyah forbidden and my name permissible?
