حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ، وَيُعَجِّلُ الْعَصْرَ،، ، وَيُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ، وَيُعَجِّلُ الْعِشَاءَ فِي السَّفَرِ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ), while on a journey, would offer the Zuhr prayer at its last time and the Asr prayer at its earliest time; similarly, he would offer the Maghrib prayer at its last time and the Isha prayer at its earliest time.
