Thumamah bin Hazn says that once I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about Nabidh. She said that a delegation of Abdul Qais came to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade them from making Nabidh in Dubba, Naqeer, Muqayyar, and Hantam. Then she called an Abyssinian slave-girl and said, "Ask her, she used to make Nabidh for the Prophet (peace be upon him)." She said, "At night I would make Nabidh for the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a waterskin, tie its mouth, and hang it up. When morning came, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would drink from it."
