حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، وَبَهْزٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، (١) قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا صُنِعَ بِالْيَمَنِ، وَكِسَاءً مِنَ الَّتِي يَدْعُونَ الْمُلَبَّدَةَ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ: تَدْعُونَ، فَقَالَتْ: " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُبِضَ فِي هَذَيْنِ الثَّوْبَيْنِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Burdah says that once Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) brought out a sheet called "mulabbadah" and a thick lower garment before us and said that the Prophet (ﷺ) departed from this world wearing only these two garments.
