حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ يُصَابُ بِهَا مُسْلِمٌ إِلَّا كُفِّرَ عَنْهُ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whenever a Muslim is pricked by a thorn or suffers any affliction even less than that, his sins are expiated in return for it.
