Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَمْرٍو، مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ يَكُونُ جُنُبًا فَيُرِيدُ الرُّقَادَ، فَيَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ، ثُمَّ يَرْقُدُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) wished to sleep in a state requiring ghusl, he would perform ablution as for prayer.
