حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ: حَدِّثِينِي بِأَحَبِّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ أَحَبُّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِي يَدُومُ عَلَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسِيرًا " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

Aswad says that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to tell me of a deed that was most beloved to the Prophet (peace be upon him). She replied that the most beloved deed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) was that which was done consistently, even if it was little.
