Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنَامُ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ وَيَقُومُ آخِرَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to sleep in the early part of the night and wake up in the last part of the night.
