Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَحَرَّى صَوْمَ يَوْمِ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to especially observe fasting on Mondays and Thursdays.
