Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ، ، عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ، مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الرِّجَالِ (١) ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " كَسْرُ عَظْمِ الْمَيِّتِ، كَكَسْرِهِ حَيًّا (٢) " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Breaking the bone of a deceased Muslim is just like breaking the bone of a living person.
