Musnad Ahmad Hadith 24738

It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was sleeping, and while sleeping, he began to laugh. When the Prophet (ﷺ) woke up, I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What made you laugh?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Some people from my Ummah will intend to attack this Baytullah because of one man who will have taken refuge in the Sacred Sanctuary. When they reach the place of Bayda, all of them will be swallowed up by the earth, and their places of resurrection will be different because Allah will raise them according to their intentions." I asked, "How is it that their places of resurrection will be different and Allah will raise them according to their intentions?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In fact, in that army there will be people who joined only to watch, some travelers, and some who were forced to join. All of them will perish in the same place, but they will be raised from different places according to their intentions."
