Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) was upset with Safiyyah bint Huyayy over something. Safiyyah said to her, "Aisha! Please reconcile the Prophet (peace be upon him) to me; I give you my turn." She said, "Alright." Then she took her scarf, which had been dyed with saffron, sprinkled water on it so that its fragrance would spread, and then came and sat beside the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Aisha! Move back, today is not your turn." She replied, "This is the grace of Allah, which He bestows upon whom He wills." Then she told the Prophet (peace be upon him) the whole incident, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) was reconciled with Safiyyah.
