حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا رَجُلٌ، قَالَ (١) : فَتَغَيَّرَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَأَنَّهُ شَقَّ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَخِي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " انْظُرْنَ مَا إِخْوَانُكُنَّ، فَإِنَّمَا الرَّضَاعَةُ مِنَ الْمَجَاعَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to her place and there was a man present there. The color of the blessed face of the Prophet (peace be upon him) changed, and it became apparent that this thing was unpleasant to the Prophet (peace be upon him). She said, "O Messenger of Allah! This is my brother." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Make sure to verify who your brothers are, because the relationship of suckling is due to hunger (i.e., the period is two and a half years, and during this time the child's hunger is satisfied with that milk)."
