Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَلْهَانِيِّ، سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي قَيْسٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْوِصَالِ فِي الصِّيَامِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade fasting continuously in such a way that one does not break the fast in between.
