Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to me at the place of "Sarif." At that time, my menstruation had started and I was sitting with my head lowered. The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw me and said, "Have your days (of menstruation) started?" I replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah! And I think that women have been created only for evil." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "There is nothing like that; rather, this is a thing in which all the women of the children of Adam are afflicted."
