حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ لِرَجُلٍ: مَا اسْمُكَ؟ قَالَ (١) : شِهَابٌ، فَقَالَ: " أَنْتَ هِشَامٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) heard a man asking another, "What is your name?" He replied, "Shihab." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your name is Hisham."
