حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ سَبْعًا فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى، وَخَمْسًا فِي الْآخِرَةِ، سِوَى تَكْبِيرَتَيِ الرُّكُوعِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say seven takbeers in the first rak'ah and five in the second rak'ah during the Eid prayers, apart from the takbeers of bowing (rukoo').
