حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّها قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كُلُّ أَهْلِكَ قَدْ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ غَيْرِي، فَقَالَ: " أَرْسِلِي إِلَى شَيْبَةَ فَيَفْتَحَ لَكِ الْبَابَ "، فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ شَيْبَةُ: مَا اسْتَطَعْنَا فَتْحَهُ فِي جَاهِلِيَّةٍ، وَلَا إِسْلَامٍ بِلَيْلٍ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَلِّي فِي الْحِجْرِ، فَإِنَّ قَوْمَكَ اسْتَقْصَرُوا عَنْ بِنَاءِ الْبَيْتِ (١) حِينَ بَنَوْهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she submitted to the Prophet (ﷺ), "O Messenger of Allah! All your other wives have entered the House of Allah except me." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Send a message to Sheiba, he will open the door of the House of Allah for you." So she sent a message to Sheiba, but Sheiba replied, "Even in the time of ignorance, we did not dare to open it at night, nor in Islam." The Prophet (ﷺ) said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Pray in the Hatim, because your people left it outside the House of Allah when they rebuilt the Kaaba."
