حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ خَدِيجَةَ سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ وَرَقَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، فَقَالَ: " قَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ فِي الْمَنَامِ، فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابُ بَيَاضٍ، فَأَحْسِبُهُ لَوْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْهِ بَيَاضٌ (١) " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the fate of Waraqah bin Nawfal. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I saw him in a dream wearing white clothes, so I think that if he were among the people of Hell, he would not be wearing white clothes.
