حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يُدْرِكُ بِحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ دَرَجَاتِ قَائِمِ اللَّيْلِ، صَائِمِ النَّهَارِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: A believer, because of his good character, attains the ranks of those who stand in prayer at night and fast during the day.
