حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ (١)، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: " مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّهُ لَبَيْنَ حَاقِنَتِي وَذَاقِنَتِي، فَلَا أَكْرَهُ شِدَّةَ الْمَوْتِ لِأَحَدٍ أَبَدًا، بَعْدَ مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that at the time when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, he was between my chest and chin, and after seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I will never dislike seeing the severity of death upon anyone.
