حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ (١) هِشَامٌ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِقَتْلِ ذِي الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ " يَقُولُ: " إِنَّهُ يُصِيبُ الْحَبَلَ، وَيَلْتَمِسُ الْبَصَرَ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to order the killing of those snakes which have a cut tail or are two-striped, because such snakes cause blindness and cause miscarriages in women.
