حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ: جَاءُوا بِعُسٍّ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَحَزَرْتُهُ ثَمَانِيَةَ أَوْ تِسْعَةَ أَوْ عَشْرَةَ أَرْطَالٍ، فَقَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ، حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Musa Jahni says that people brought a large bowl in the month of Ramadan. I estimated that it contained eight, nine, or ten ratl of water. So Mujahid informed that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated this hadith to me: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform ghusl with that amount of water.
