Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we had a curtain on which there was a picture of a bird. Whenever someone entered the house, the first thing they would see was that curtain. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Aisha! Change this curtain. Whenever I enter the house and my eyes fall upon it, the world comes to my mind." Similarly, we had a sheet about which we used to say that its designs were of silk, and we used to wear it.
