حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ (١) لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمِيصَةٌ، فَأَعْطَاهَا أَبَا جَهْمَةَ، (٢) وَأَخَذَ أَنْبِجَانِيَّةً لَهُ، فَقَالُوا: (٣) يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ الْخَمِيصَةَ هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْأَنْبِجَانِيَّةِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عَلَمِهَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed in a cloak which had patterns on it. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Its patterns distracted me, so take this cloak to Abu Juhm and bring me a plain cloak."
