حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَتْ امْرَأَةٌ تَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا تَذْكُرُ مِنْ اجْتِهَادِهَا قَالَ: فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الدِّينِ إِلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا دُووِمَ عَلَيْهِ، وَإِنْ قَلَّ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a woman used to come to her who was known for enduring hardship and exertion in acts of worship. When people mentioned her to the Prophet (ﷺ), the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The most beloved deed to Allah is that which is done consistently, even if it is little.
