Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: " إِنَّ نُزُولَ الْأَبْطَحِ لَيْسَ بِسُنَّةٍ، إِنَّمَا نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَسْمَحَ (١) لِخُرُوجِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that staying at the place of "Abtah" is not a Sunnah, rather the Prophet (ﷺ) stayed there only because it was easier to depart from that side.
