Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ مَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَسَمِعَ صَوْتًا، فَقَالَ: " يَهُودُ تُعَذَّبُ فِي قُبُورِهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came out after sunset and heard a sound, and said: "The Jews are being punished in their graves."
