حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى كَانَ يُشَدِّدُ فِي الْبَوْلِ، قَالَ: كَانَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذَا أَصَابَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْبَوْلُ يُتْبِعُهُ بِالْمِقْرَاضَيْنِ، قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ: وَدِدْتُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُشَدِّدُ، " لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى ـ أَوْ قَالَ: مَشَى إِلَى ـ سُبَاطَةِ قَوْمٍ فَبَالَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It came to the knowledge of Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) used to urinate in a bottle and used to say that if urine touched the body of the Children of Israel, they would cut off that part with scissors. Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I wish your companions would not be so strict. I remember that we were walking with the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). While walking, when we reached a place where rubbish was thrown, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) stood and urinated."
